WHO
There are aimed at children of all musical abilities, from complete beginner to experienced player. These workshops are open to Key Stage 1,2 and 3 children.
HOW
Children have access to a carousel of various musical and entertainment activities. All instruments and resources are provided. A packed lunch and drink will usually be required for these workshops.
WHAT
The Holiday Workshops include activities such as:
– Acoustic and electric guitar, keyboards and electronic drums.
– Yousician – An interactive music application helping students learn and play a musical instrument.
– Rocksmith – An Xbox/PlayStation game helping students learn the electric guitar.
– Interactive Karaoke games.
– Tablet based music composition apps.
– Playstation Virtual Reality music games.
– Guitar effects pedals.
WHERE
These workshops usually take place at Guiseley Theatre, Guiseley, Leeds, although this may vary.
