Our interschool Battle of the Bands competition invites children to choose their own band name and work together as a team to record their own music video. Each band in school watches and votes on the other bands videos to determine a winner. The winning band receives a Battle of the Bands certificate to show in assembly and an edible prize! The videos are available to watch below. Each band only gets a fixed amount of time to learn their songs so those Rockers who do the most practice may be most likely to win!

We try to give as many Guitar Rockers as possible the opportunity to perform live. Our bands perform at school in front of children, teachers, parents and extended family.

With our Solo competition our Guitar Rockers are given a specific challenge governed by their age and ability. This involves students submitting a video of them playing, or alternatively demonstrating their skills during a lesson. These competition entries are judged by our teachers and prizes are given to the most improved Guitar Rockers. These prizes vary from cold hard cash to brand new guitars and music accessories.
